Val and the late Brian enjoyed staying in B & B’s so much they decided to design their own. Val is the keen gardener while Brian did the spade work. Brian was also active in Rotary and International fellowship prior to his untimely passing.

Val offers pre evening drinks and takes pride in our New Zealand wines. Dinner can be arranged by prior arrangement. Close by are a number of dining cafes and restaurants. Beaches, estuary, vineyards, golf courses and walking tracks are all close by.

Akaroa, Hamner thermal pools and Kaikoura Whale watch make for good day trips. Winter skiing is available 2 hours away at Mount Hutt. Christchurch is known for its major tourist attractions.

Your host will assist you in every way with travel planning and transport. It is thoroughly recommended at least a 3 night stop over to appreciate what the Garden City of Christchurch has to offer.
